A CONVERSATION ABOUT EATING HABITS


Date: Monday, October 17th 2022.



1. Today I heard a podcast about Bad eating habits.

They talk about bad eating habits, Like eating pizza, chicken, popcorn and spicy food.


2.  I have heard 2 times and I ready to answer:

a. What kind of pizza does Luke like?

 He like hawaiana pizza .

b. What is Jack's bad eating habit?

He is eats chicken, popcorn, when he is watching some movie.

c. Do Luke and Jack like spicy food?

Yes, They do. 

3.  I learned new words and phrases from this podcast.
  • BINGE:  Do on consume something to excess. (Juerga)
  • GRAZE (on): Eat small quantities of food frequenty. (Picotear)
  • TEND TO VERB: To usually/often do something. (Tiende hacer algo)
  • CUT OUT: Remove completely. (Extraer/Eliminar)

1. Today I heard a podcast about  Good eating habits

They talk about good eating habits, how you can lose weight, and how they have organized themselves to eat healthy.


2. I have heard 2 times and I ready to answer:

a.  How did Luke's brother lose weight?

Luke's brother lost weight, skipped breakfast and ate salad for lunch and ate anything for dinner. 

b. What happened when Jack gave up coffe?

 He had severe headache for two weeks.

c. What  does Jack do every Sunday evening?

He and his wife pack seven or eight lunch boxes for the week.

  • EXHAUSTED: Very tired. (Exhausto)
  • CRAVING: A strong desire for something. (Antojo)
  • GIVE UP: To stop doing or having something. (Dejar/ abandonar)
  • EAT OUT: To eat at a restaurant or public space. (Comer fuera)

    1. Today I heard a podcast about British vs. South Korean eating habits
They talk about the difference between British and south Korea about eating habits, for example the British the food is very expensive, and South Korea eat spicy food.


2. I have heard 3 times and I ready to answer:

a. Do British people eat spicy food?

No, they don't. 

b. What do Korean people often east late at night?

 They often cook noodles at night.

c. Are  restaurants expensive in Korea?

No, they aren't. The restaurants are cheap in Korea. 

3.  I learned new words and phrases from this podcast.

  • BLAND: Lack strong features. Little taste. (Insípido)
  • FOODIE: Someone who loves food. (Amante de la buena comida)
